Ingredients

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup red and green chocolate candies
2 tablespoons coarse sugar sprinkles
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and holiday candies.
7. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets leaving space between each cookie.
8. Press extra chocolate chips and candies onto the tops of the cookies and sprinkle lightly with coarse sugar.
9. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden and the centers remain soft.
10. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
Use room temperature butter for a smoother cookie dough and softer texture.
Do not overbake the cookies because they continue cooking slightly as they cool on the baking sheet.
