Soft Marshmallow Lucky Charms Treats are a colorful, chewy, no-bake dessert made with buttery melted marshmallows and crispy cereal. This easy recipe is perfect for quick snacks, party food ideas, birthday desserts, St. Patrick’s Day treats, lunchbox sweets, and fun no-bake dessert ideas.

Ingredients

6 cups Lucky Charms cereal

10 ounces mini marshmallows, divided

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon fine salt

1 teaspoon nonstick cooking spray or softened butter

Instructions

1. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

2. Add Lucky Charms cereal to a large bowl.

3. Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.

4. Add most of the mini marshmallows, reserving 1 cup, and stir until smooth.

5. Remove from heat, then stir in vanilla extract and salt.

6. Fold in the cereal gently until coated.

7. Fold in the reserved mini marshmallows.

8. Press gently into the prepared pan.

9. Cool for 30 minutes, then slice into squares.

Notes

Use low heat so the marshmallows stay soft and stretchy.

Do not press the mixture too firmly into the pan.

Store at room temperature in an airtight container for the best texture.
