Description

Sticky hot honey garlic chicken bites meet creamy Cajun Alfredo pasta in this bold, sweet-spicy comfort dish. Tossed with rotini and crispy broccoli, this is an easy but impressive dinner you’ll come back to again and again.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless

1/4 cup hot honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons salted butter (divided)

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

8 oz rotini pasta

1 cup broccoli florets

fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add hot honey and simmer 2–3 minutes. Return chicken to pan and toss in glaze.

4. Cook rotini pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain.

5. While pasta cooks, roast or pan-sear broccoli until lightly crispy.

6. In a saucepan, melt remaining butter and add cream. Whisk in Cajun seasoning and parmesan until sauce is creamy and smooth.

7. Toss rotini in Cajun Alfredo sauce, then plate with glazed chicken and broccoli. Garnish with basil.

Notes

Use a cast iron skillet for best sear and sauce caramelization.

To reduce spice, use less Cajun seasoning and mild honey.

Reheat leftovers with a splash of cream to revive the Alfredo texture.
