Ingredients
500g sausage meat
1 sheet puff pastry
1 small onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tsp dried thyme or parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a bowl, mix sausage meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, herbs, salt, and pepper.
3. Roll out puff pastry and cut into long strips.
4. Shape sausage mixture into logs and place along the center of each strip.
5. Fold pastry over and seal edges.
6. Cut into desired sizes and place seam-side down on a lined baking tray.
7. Brush with egg wash.
8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Notes
Use cold puff pastry for better flakiness.
