This Cajun Chicken Pasta combines the spicy kick of blackened chicken with a rich, creamy Parmesan garlic sauce. Served over perfectly cooked penne, it’s a hearty, flavorful meal ideal for busy nights or casual entertaining. The sauce is velvety and seasoned just right, soaking into every bite of pasta and clinging to the juicy strips of seasoned chicken.


Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz penne pasta

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.
  3. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently. Stir in Parmesan until sauce thickens.
  6. Add pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  7. Top with sliced chicken and garnish with parsley.
  8. Serve immediately while hot.
