Description

Beef and Bowtie Pasta with Alfredo Sauce is the perfect comfort food for busy weeknights or cozy weekends. This rich and creamy dish blends tender farfalle pasta with seasoned ground beef and a homemade Alfredo sauce made with heavy cream, Parmesan, and cream cheese. It’s indulgent, satisfying, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta

1 lb ground beef

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 oz cream cheese, softened

½ tsp salt (or to taste)

¼ tsp ground black pepper

Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in heavy cream and add cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Mix in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  7. Let simmer for 1-2 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley and optional red pepper flakes.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
