Description

Voodoo Fries are a bold and cheesy appetizer made with crispy golden fries drenched in spiced cheddar cheese sauce and topped with fresh green onions. They’re irresistible as a snack, party food, or game-day treat.


Ingredients

1 lb thick-cut fries (frozen or homemade)

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook fries according to package directions or deep fry until golden and crispy.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 1-2 minutes.
  3. Slowly add milk, whisking until smooth. Add Cajun seasoning.
  4. Simmer until slightly thickened, then stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  5. Plate the fries and pour cheese sauce over them.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
