Description

A chilled, creamy Tuna Pasta Salad that blends flaky tuna, al dente pasta, crisp cucumbers, and red onion with a refreshing dill-mayo dressing. Ideal for potlucks, picnics, and meal prep.


Ingredients

12 oz short pasta (rotini, penne, or elbow macaroni)

2 (5 oz) cans tuna, drained and flaked

1/2 red onion, finely diced

1 cup cucumber, sliced and quartered

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped

3/4 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)

1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prep Ingredients: Dice red onion, slice cucumbers, chop dill, and flake the tuna.
  3. Mix Dressing: In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and dill.
  4. Combine: Add pasta to the dressing, then gently fold in tuna, cucumbers, and onion.
  5. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
