Ingredients

1 pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (or as high as your oven goes). Place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.

2. In a skillet, gently warm olive oil with minced garlic over low heat until fragrant. Do not brown. Set aside to cool.

3. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 10–12 inch round.

4. Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or parchment-lined baking sheet.

5. Brush the surface of the dough generously with the garlic-infused olive oil.

6. Add dollops of ricotta evenly over the crust.
