Perfect for easy dinner ideas, finger food, or crowd-pleasing snack inspiration.

Ingredients

1 cup chopped smoked brisket

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped

10 egg roll wrappers

Oil for frying (about 3 cups for deep frying)

1/4 cup honey, for drizzling

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped brisket, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and chopped jalapeños until fully mixed.

2. Place one egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of filling near the center.

3. Fold in the sides, then roll tightly, sealing the edge with a bit of water.

4. Repeat the process for the remaining wrappers.

5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).

6. Fry egg rolls 2–3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.

7. Use tongs to transfer fried rolls to a paper towel-lined tray to drain.

8. Drizzle warm honey over each roll before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure the oil stays between 350°F–365°F to avoid soggy or burnt rolls.

For a spicier version, leave some jalapeño seeds in or add a dash of hot sauce to the filling.

You can freeze assembled egg rolls and fry them straight from the freezer with a few extra minutes of cook time.
