Ingredients
Sweet Onions (Vidalia preferred)
Butter
Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
Garlic Powder
Salt
Black Pepper
Fresh Parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - Peel and slice sweet onions into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Separate into rings.
 - Layer onions in a buttered 9×13 baking dish.
 - Season evenly with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
 - Dot with butter across the onion layers.
 - Top with cheese, sprinkling cheddar, mozzarella, and Monterey Jack generously.
 - Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until onions are tender and cheese is golden and bubbly.
 - Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for extra browning.
 - Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
