Ingredients
1 lb steak (sirloin or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized cubes
10 oz cheese tortellini (refrigerated or frozen)
1 cup Alfredo sauce
1/3 cup basil pesto
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear on all sides until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Cook Tortellini: Boil tortellini according to package directions. Drain well.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower heat to medium-low. Add Alfredo sauce and stir in basil pesto. Warm through, about 2–3 minutes.
- Combine and Serve: Add tortellini to the sauce and gently toss to coat. Return steak bites to the skillet. Stir everything together and serve hot.
