Description

A cozy, flavor-packed meal of juicy steak bites and cheese tortellini tossed in a creamy pesto Alfredo sauce. Perfect for weeknights or dinner guests, this dish brings together bold, savory, and creamy in every bite.

Ingredients

1 lb steak (sirloin or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized cubes

10 oz cheese tortellini (refrigerated or frozen)

1 cup Alfredo sauce

1/3 cup basil pesto

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear on all sides until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook Tortellini: Boil tortellini according to package directions. Drain well.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower heat to medium-low. Add Alfredo sauce and stir in basil pesto. Warm through, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Combine and Serve: Add tortellini to the sauce and gently toss to coat. Return steak bites to the skillet. Stir everything together and serve hot.
