Ingredients

Chicken thighs

Brown sugar

Garlic cloves

Soy sauce

Butter

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Cut into chunks if desired.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add brown sugar and soy sauce. Stir until sugar dissolves and sauce thickens.
  5. Return chicken to the pan. Simmer 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked and well-glazed.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
