A refreshing and simple layered treat made with creamy yogurt, juicy strawberries, and crunchy granola. Ideal for breakfast, snack time, or a light dessert that looks as beautiful as it tastes.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 to 1.5 cups Greek or vanilla yogurt
1 cup granola of choice
1 tsp sugar (optional, for macerating strawberries)
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and slice the strawberries. If desired, mix with sugar and set aside for 10 minutes.
- Choose clear serving glasses or jars for a visual presentation.
- Start layering: add a spoonful of yogurt at the bottom of each glass.
- Add a layer of granola, then sliced strawberries.
- Repeat the layers until the glass is filled, ending with yogurt on top.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of granola, a whole strawberry, and a mint leaf.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate (without top granola) for up to 2 hours.
