Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts, cubed
4 large flour tortillas
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season cubed chicken with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan. Sauté garlic for 1 minute, add flour, and cook for another minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cream. Stir and simmer until thickened. Season and remove from heat.
- Fill tortillas with chicken and cheese, then roll them tightly.
- Sear the wraps in a skillet until golden and crisp.
- Spoon garlic cream sauce over the wraps and garnish with parsley.
