Golden seared tortillas filled with seasoned chicken and melted cheese, topped with a silky garlic cream sauce for a satisfying, flavor-packed dinner option.


Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, cubed

4 large flour tortillas

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season cubed chicken with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan. Sauté garlic for 1 minute, add flour, and cook for another minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and cream. Stir and simmer until thickened. Season and remove from heat.
  5. Fill tortillas with chicken and cheese, then roll them tightly.
  6. Sear the wraps in a skillet until golden and crisp.
  7. Spoon garlic cream sauce over the wraps and garnish with parsley.
