Ingredients
Breakfast sausage links (pre-cooked)
White sandwich bread (crusts removed)
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Butter (for greasing the pan)
Maple syrup (for serving)
Instructions
- Cook sausage links according to package instructions if not pre-cooked. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Trim crusts off bread slices and flatten each piece with a rolling pin.
- Place one sausage on the edge of each slice of bread and roll tightly. Seal the seam with gentle pressure.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides without soaking.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook roll-ups seam-side down first, rotating until golden on all sides.
