Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter (softened)

1 head garlic (roasted)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Optional: 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or chopped chives


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice top off garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until soft.
  2. In a bowl, combine softened butter and squeezed-out roasted garlic cloves.
  3. Add parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
  5. Spoon onto parchment paper, roll into a log, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Alternatively, store in a ramekin.
