Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1 head garlic (roasted)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Optional: 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or chopped chives
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice top off garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes until soft.
- In a bowl, combine softened butter and squeezed-out roasted garlic cloves.
- Add parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until fully combined and smooth.
- Spoon onto parchment paper, roll into a log, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Alternatively, store in a ramekin.
