Ingredients
12 oz rigatoni pasta
1 lb sirloin steak tips, cut into cubes
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add rigatoni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and let rest.
4. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Gradually whisk in parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Add cooked rigatoni to the sauce and stir to coat. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes.
8. Serve rigatoni alongside the steak tips. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For deeper flavor, let your steak sit with Cajun seasoning for 15 minutes before cooking.
Stir the sauce constantly to avoid burning the garlic or curdling the cream.
Use freshly grated parmesan—not pre-shredded—for the smoothest, richest sauce.
