Description
Red Lobster’s Cheese Biscuit Loaf transforms your favorite cheddar bay biscuits into a moist, savory loaf packed with sharp cheddar, garlic, and buttery goodness. It’s the ultimate comfort bake—perfect as a side, brunch star, or snack.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup milk
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter.
4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed.
5. Fold in the shredded cheddar and parsley gently.
6. Pour batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Sprinkle additional cheese and parsley on top (optional).
8. Bake for 45–50 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Don’t overmix the batter—just fold until combined to keep the loaf tender.
For best flavor, use freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-packaged.
Loaf freezes well when sliced and wrapped individually.
