Description
Creamy, citrus-filled centers wrapped in smooth white chocolate and rolled in sparkling sugar—these Orange Creamsicle Truffles are a bite-sized version of your favorite nostalgic summer treat. Perfect for parties or whenever you’re craving a pop of sunshine flavor.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 teaspoon orange extract
2 cups white chocolate chips or melting wafers
1 tablespoon heavy cream (optional)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
2. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar until fully combined and creamy.
3. Stir in orange zest and orange extract. Taste and adjust if needed.
4. Chill the mixture for 1 hour until firm enough to shape.
5. Scoop and roll the mixture into balls; place them on a parchment-lined tray.
6. Melt white chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts.
7. If chocolate is too thick, stir in heavy cream until smooth.
8. Dip each ball in melted white chocolate and let excess drip off.
9. Immediately roll each coated truffle in granulated sugar.
10. Place on tray and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until set.
Notes
For a bolder citrus punch, use both orange zest and a touch more extract.
Roll truffles quickly after coating—white chocolate sets fast.
Want a smoother finish? Dip truffles twice in white chocolate for extra coating.
