Description

A rich and comforting dish, One-Skillet Spicy Garlic Butter Parmesan Steak Pasta is the perfect fusion of bold flavors and weeknight convenience. With juicy seared steak, perfectly cooked pasta, and a creamy, spicy garlic Parmesan sauce, it all comes together in one pan—minimizing clean-up while maximizing taste.

Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

8 oz penne pasta, cooked al dente

4 tbsp unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to boil and cook penne until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear steak pieces 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, then garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add cooked pasta, reserved water, and heavy cream (if using). Stir to coat.
  6. Mix in Parmesan until melted and sauce is creamy.
  7. Return steak to skillet, toss to combine, and cook 1–2 minutes more.
  8. Turn off heat. Add lemon juice and parsley. Adjust seasoning and serve.
