Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
8 oz fettuccine or tagliatelle pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons honey
1 ½ teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup beef broth
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Pat steak pieces dry and season with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear steak in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Set aside.
- Lower heat to medium. Add butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in honey, remaining Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and chili flakes.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Stir to deglaze the pan and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add pasta directly into the sauce. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
- Return steak to the pan. Add Parmesan if using. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
