Ingredients
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup raisins
Optional Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar + 1–2 tsp milk + splash of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or grease it.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Form the Dough: Add the dry ingredients into the wet, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in raisins.
- Bake: Spread dough evenly in the pan. Bake for 22–25 minutes, until edges are golden and center is set.
- Cool & Glaze: Let bars cool in the pan. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over the top if desired.
