Description
Millionaire Gnocchi with Creamy Sauce is an indulgent pasta dish where pillowy gnocchi is seared to golden perfection and coated in a rich, velvety garlic-parmesan cream sauce. Simple yet elegant, this recipe transforms everyday ingredients into something worthy of a special dinner—comforting, luxurious, and deeply satisfying.
Ingredients
2 cups potato gnocchi
1 cup heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or chives
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 2 tablespoons white wine or a pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add gnocchi in a single layer and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
3. In a separate saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute over medium-low heat.
4. Pour in heavy cream and whisk until slightly thickened.
5. Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
6. Return seared gnocchi to the skillet and pour the sauce over it.
7. Toss gently to coat all gnocchi evenly. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to combine flavors.
8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives and serve hot.
Notes
For ultra-creamy sauce, don’t overheat the cream—keep it at a gentle simmer.
Use shelf-stable gnocchi or fresh, but avoid frozen unless fully thawed and dried.
Add a splash of cream when reheating leftovers to keep the texture smooth.
