Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli

1 cup ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease. Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Layer the Casserole: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce. Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the ravioli, followed by half the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  3. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. For a golden brown top, broil for 2-3 minutes before removing from the oven.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
