Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ cup panko breadcrumbs

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup shredded Provolone cheese

¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

½ cup heavy cream

2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, melted butter, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  4. In another bowl, combine shredded Provolone and mozzarella cheese.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Place the seared chicken breasts back into the skillet. Spread the Parmesan crust mixture evenly over each piece, followed by the shredded cheese blend.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
