Description

A savory classic that’s moist, tender, and packed with rich onion flavor thanks to the magic of Lipton’s Onion Soup Mix. This meatloaf is topped with a sweet glaze and is perfect for family dinners, meal prep, or a cozy weekend feast.


Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef (80/20 preferred)

1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup plain breadcrumbs

3/4 cup milk

1/3 cup ketchup (for meat mixture)

1/3 cup ketchup (for glaze)

2 tbsp brown sugar (for glaze)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a standard loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, and 1/3 cup ketchup. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape mixture into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
  4. Bake for 55-60 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix remaining ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce to make the glaze.
  6. Spread glaze over the meatloaf during the final 15 minutes of baking.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
