  • Author: Olivia McKenney

Description

This Hot Fudge Pie is a decadent dessert with a texture somewhere between a gooey brownie and silky ganache. It’s rich, chocolatey, and indulgent—best served warm with a scoop of ice cream. Perfect for dinner parties or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped baking chocolate

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Press pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Whisk in sugar, then beat in eggs one at a time until mixture is glossy.
  4. Stir in flour, salt, and vanilla until just combined.
  5. Pour filling into prepared pie crust and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is just set.
  7. Let cool at least 15 minutes before serving.
