A quick and flavor-packed dinner, this Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli recipe blends savory sausage, juicy shrimp, and fresh broccoli in a sticky, sweet-savory glaze. Perfect for weeknight meals with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
3 cups broccoli florets
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil, divided
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear sausage slices until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add shrimp to the same skillet. Cook 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to skillet. Stir-fry broccoli for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Lower heat and add garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce. Let simmer for 1 minute.
- Mix cornstarch and water. Add to skillet and stir until sauce thickens.
- Return shrimp and sausage. Toss to coat everything in sauce. Cook another minute.
- Serve hot over rice, noodles, or as-is.
