Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

12 oz smoked sausage, sliced

3 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil, divided

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp water


Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear sausage slices until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add shrimp to the same skillet. Cook 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining oil to skillet. Stir-fry broccoli for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Lower heat and add garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in honey and soy sauce. Let simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water. Add to skillet and stir until sauce thickens.
  7. Return shrimp and sausage. Toss to coat everything in sauce. Cook another minute.
  8. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or as-is.
