This Hidden Valley Ranch Chicken Pasta is a rich and creamy one-skillet meal packed with ranch-seasoned chicken, tender rotini, and a luscious parmesan cream sauce. It’s the perfect weeknight dinner for families or anyone needing a little comfort in a bowl.
Ingredients
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix
3 cups cooked rotini pasta
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional
1⁄2 cup reserved pasta water
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted water. Drain and reserve 1⁄2 cup of the pasta water.
6. Return chicken to the skillet and add in the cooked pasta.
7. Stir in parmesan cheese and a splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
8. Mix until everything is coated and the sauce is silky.
9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the pasta so it holds up well when tossed in the sauce.
Reserve pasta water before draining—it’s liquid gold for loosening creamy sauces.
You can swap chicken with turkey or even cooked sausage for variation.
