Description
Creamy, tangy, and naturally sweetened, this Healthy Cherry Greek Frozen Yogurt is made with just a few wholesome ingredients. A perfect refreshing treat for hot days, packed with protein and bursting with cherry flavor!
Ingredients
1 ½ cups frozen cherries
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
1. Add the frozen cherries, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender or food processor.
2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
3. Taste and adjust sweetness or add lemon juice for a brighter flavor.
4. Optionally, fold in chopped cherries, dark chocolate chunks, or granola.
5. Transfer the mixture to an airtight freezer-safe container.
6. Freeze for 2–3 hours for a soft-serve texture, or longer for a firmer consistency.
7. Let it sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping and serving.
8. Serve in bowls or cones, and top with your favorite mix-ins!
Notes
Use a shallow container for faster freezing and easier scooping.
Full-fat yogurt gives the creamiest texture; non-fat may become icier.
Freeze the container with parchment paper on top to avoid ice crystals.
