Description

This Hash Brown Quiche features a golden, crispy potato crust filled with creamy eggs, sharp cheddar, and savory ham or bacon. It’s a comforting, hearty dish that’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a simple dinner


Ingredients

3 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and drained

4 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup diced ham or cooked crumbled bacon

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Press the thawed hash browns into the bottom and up the sides of the dish to form a crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 20–25 minutes until edges are golden.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, cheese, ham or bacon, salt, and pepper.
  5. Lower oven to 375°F (190°C). Pour egg mixture into the crust.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes until the center is set and top is golden.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.
