This Hash Brown Quiche features a golden, crispy potato crust filled with creamy eggs, sharp cheddar, and savory ham or bacon. It’s a comforting, hearty dish that’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a simple dinner
Ingredients
3 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and drained
4 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup diced ham or cooked crumbled bacon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- Press the thawed hash browns into the bottom and up the sides of the dish to form a crust.
- Bake the crust for 20–25 minutes until edges are golden.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, cheese, ham or bacon, salt, and pepper.
- Lower oven to 375°F (190°C). Pour egg mixture into the crust.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until the center is set and top is golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.
