Description
Tender garlic-seasoned steak bites are pan-seared and tossed with cheese-filled tortellini in a rich parmesan garlic cream sauce. This comforting one-skillet dinner is packed with flavor and ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cubed
9 oz cheese-filled tortellini
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Pat the steak dry and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak pieces until browned, about 4–5 minutes.
- Remove and set aside.
- Cook tortellini according to package directions.
- Drain and set aside. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese.
- Whisk continuously until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the cooked tortellini and steak.
- Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and chili flakes if desired.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Don’t overcook the steak—sear it quickly for juicy, tender bites.
Add a splash of reserved pasta water if your sauce gets too thick.
