Garlic Steak & Cheese-Filled Tortellini Skillet

Description

Tender garlic-seasoned steak bites are pan-seared and tossed with cheese-filled tortellini in a rich parmesan garlic cream sauce. This comforting one-skillet dinner is packed with flavor and ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cubed

9 oz cheese-filled tortellini

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. 1. Pat the steak dry and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the steak pieces until browned, about 4–5 minutes.
  5. Remove and set aside.
  6. Cook tortellini according to package directions.
  7. Drain and set aside. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter.
  8. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  9. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese.
  10. Whisk continuously until smooth and creamy.
  11. Gently fold in the cooked tortellini and steak.
  12. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  13. Garnish with parsley and chili flakes if desired.
  14. Serve hot.

Notes

Don’t overcook the steak—sear it quickly for juicy, tender bites.

Add a splash of reserved pasta water if your sauce gets too thick.
