Ingredients
1.5 lbs chicken breast or tenderloins
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Vegetable oil for frying or cooking spray for baking
Instructions
- Cut chicken into strips if using breasts. Pat dry.
- Prepare 3 bowls: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the third.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Press crumbs onto chicken.
- For frying: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook tenders for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
- For baking: Preheat oven to 425°F. Place tenders on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Spray with cooking spray. Bake 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
