Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches

  • Author: Olivia McKenney
  • Total Time: 16 minutes
  • Yield: 2–4 servings

Description

A golden, crispy dessert sandwich stuffed with tangy cream cheese and luscious strawberry preserves, pan-fried to perfection and dusted with powdered sugar. It’s like a cheesecake and French toast hybrid that’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet treat anytime.

Ingredients

Cream cheese

Strawberry preserves

Thick-sliced bread (brioche or Texas toast preferred)

Butter (for frying)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Optional: vanilla extract, lemon zest

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese with vanilla extract and lemon zest (if using) until smooth.
  2. Spread cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread, strawberry preserves on another, and press together to form a sandwich.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry sandwiches until golden brown on both sides, 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove from skillet and place on a paper towel to drain. Let cool slightly.
  5. Dust with powdered sugar, slice in half, and serve warm.
