Ingredients

Doritos (Nacho Cheese or preferred flavor)

Shredded Cheese (Mozzarella or Cheddar)

Cream Cheese

Diced Bell Peppers

Green Onions

Jalapeños (optional)

Cornstarch

Eggs

Flour

Breadcrumbs or Crushed Doritos

Oil for Frying (Canola or Vegetable Oil)


Instructions

  1. Create the Filling: In a bowl, mix shredded cheese, cream cheese, diced bell peppers, green onions, jalapeños (if using), and a spoonful of cornstarch.
  2. Shape and Chill: Place a spoonful of filling on a Doritos chip, top with another chip to form a sandwich. Repeat and freeze for 20–30 minutes.
  3. Coat the Sandwiches: Dredge each sandwich in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs or crushed Doritos.
  4. Fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry sandwiches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
