Ingredients

4 salmon fillets

1 cup crab meat

½ cup small shrimp, peeled and chopped

4 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons butter

Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

1. Combine crab meat, shrimp, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a bowl; mix until chunky.

2. Cut a horizontal slit in each salmon fillet to create a pocket, without cutting through.

3. Fill each pocket with the seafood mixture and gently press to seal.

4. Season fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika.

5. Heat butter in an oven-safe skillet and sear salmon 2-3 minutes per side until golden.

6. Transfer skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes, until salmon flakes easily.

7. Garnish with parsley and a drizzle of lemon butter if desired. Serve hot.

Use fresh lemon zest for maximum flavor brightness.

Ensure the crab meat is well-drained to avoid a watery filling.
