Description
Eggnog Tiramisu brings a festive twist to the beloved Italian classic. Layers of espresso-dipped ladyfingers, spiced eggnog mascarpone cream, and cocoa dusting make this dessert a no-bake showstopper for the holiday season.
Ingredients
1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
24 ladyfingers (Savoiardi)
1 ½ cups eggnog (preferably full-fat)
8 ounces mascarpone cheese
¾ cup heavy whipping cream
⅓ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Brew a strong cup of espresso or coffee and let it cool. Pour into a shallow dish.
2. Using a hand or stand mixer, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, beat together mascarpone cheese, eggnog, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and nutmeg until smooth.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture with a spatula.
5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee (1–2 seconds max) and line the bottom of an 8×8 or 9×9 glass dish.
6. Spread half of the cream mixture over the dipped ladyfingers.
7. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining cream mixture.
8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
9. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder using a fine mesh sieve.
Notes
Do not over-soak the ladyfingers—2 seconds per side is perfect for texture.
For a spiked version, add 1–2 tablespoons of bourbon or rum to the coffee.
Make it the night before to let the flavors fully meld and layers firm up.
