Ingredients
Boneless skinless chicken thighs
Sweet chili sauce
Soy sauce
Minced garlic
Honey
Rice vinegar
Cornstarch + water (for slurry)
Chopped green onions (optional garnish)
Sesame seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Season and Sear Chicken: Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Stir to combine and simmer.
- Thicken the Sauce: Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Add to the skillet and stir until sauce thickens and turns glossy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return chicken to skillet. Spoon sauce over pieces and cook for 2–3 more minutes.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot
