Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups crushed tomatoes or marinara sauce
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix gently until just combined.
2. Form into 1 1/2 inch meatballs using a cookie scoop or hands.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear meatballs on all sides until browned, or bake at 400°F for 15–18 minutes.
4. Transfer meatballs to a saucepan with marinara sauce. Simmer over low heat for 20–30 minutes.
5. Serve with spaghetti, in a sub roll, or enjoy on their own with Parmesan and parsley.
Notes
Use a cookie scoop to ensure even-sized meatballs for consistent cooking.
Avoid overmixing the meat to keep the texture light and tender.
Let meatballs rest in sauce to absorb extra flavor before serving.
