Description

Easy Marry Me Chicken is a creamy, savory skillet dish that’s full of bold flavors and ready in under 30 minutes. Tender chicken breasts are seared to perfection, then simmered in a luxurious parmesan and sun-dried tomato cream sauce. It’s the kind of meal that feels fancy but couldn’t be simpler—perfect for impressing dinner guests or elevating your weekday dinner routine.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1⁄2 cup chicken broth

3⁄4 cup heavy cream

1⁄2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

1⁄3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden. Remove and set aside.

3. Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Deglaze pan with chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom.

5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

6. Add parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir until sauce is creamy and smooth.

7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over each piece. Simmer 5–7 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

8. Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve warm with pasta, bread, or veggies.

Notes

Searing the chicken properly creates a flavorful crust that enhances the dish.

Use freshly grated parmesan for best melt and taste—pre-shredded cheese may clump.

Add a splash of broth or cream when reheating to maintain the creamy consistency.
