A quick and flavorful pan-seared chicken recipe, simmered in a buttery garlic lemon sauce and garnished with fresh herbs. Ideal for busy weeknights yet elegant enough for company.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/3 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5-6 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium, add butter, and stir in garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir well.
- Return chicken to skillet and simmer in sauce for 5-7 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices before serving.
