1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or any preferred toppings)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin. Flatten biscuit dough or roll out pizza dough, cutting circles slightly larger than the muffin tin openings. Press each dough piece into the cups.
  2. Add Sauce and Cheese: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each cup, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  3. Add Toppings: Place mini pepperoni slices, cooked sausage, diced bell peppers, mushrooms, or your preferred toppings. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  4. Bake: Brush the dough edges with olive oil and bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Let cool slightly before removing from the tin. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil or parsley. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
