Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or any preferred toppings)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin. Flatten biscuit dough or roll out pizza dough, cutting circles slightly larger than the muffin tin openings. Press each dough piece into the cups.
- Add Sauce and Cheese: Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each cup, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Add Toppings: Place mini pepperoni slices, cooked sausage, diced bell peppers, mushrooms, or your preferred toppings. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Bake: Brush the dough edges with olive oil and bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
