1/4 cup water
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
2. Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water. Stir and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until thickened.
3. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted and combined.
4. Lay tortillas flat and divide the beef mixture evenly among them.
5. Fold in the sides and roll tightly like a burrito.
6. Brush all sides with vegetable oil.
7. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 18 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
8. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting and smoother filling.
Warm tortillas for 10 to 15 seconds in the microwave to prevent cracking while rolling.
For extra crispiness, spray lightly with cooking spray before baking.
