Description

Creamy Tortellini Shrimp Alfredo Delight is a rich, comforting dish made with tender cheese tortellini, juicy shrimp, and a silky Parmesan Alfredo sauce. Perfect for both weeknight meals and elegant dinners, this recipe comes together in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients

18 oz cheese tortellini

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tbsp butter

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and half the Italian seasoning. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp are pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until smooth and fully melted.

5. Stir in the remaining Italian seasoning and adjust salt and pepper as needed.

6. Add cooked tortellini and shrimp back into the skillet. Gently toss everything to coat in the Alfredo sauce.

7. Let it simmer for 1–2 more minutes to fully heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley and more Parmesan if desired.

8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp—remove them as soon as they turn pink to keep them tender.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest, creamiest sauce.

To reheat leftovers, add a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce texture.
