Description

This Creamy No Boil Mac & Cheese is a one-dish miracle—no boiling required! Each bite is layered with melty cheese and tender pasta, making it a comforting favorite for weeknight dinners, potlucks, or holidays. It’s ultra-creamy, golden-topped, and irresistibly easy.


Ingredients

2 cups elbow macaroni

2 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 ounces cream cheese, cubed

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/2 cup extra shredded cheese for topping


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, melted butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).

3. Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and cream cheese until mostly blended.

4. Add uncooked elbow macaroni and stir well to coat all the pasta evenly.

5. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish. Cover tightly with foil.

6. Bake covered for 35–40 minutes until pasta is tender.

7. Remove foil, gently stir the mixture, then sprinkle extra cheese on top.

8. Bake uncovered for an additional 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

9. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best texture, shred cheese from a block instead of using pre-shredded.

Make it your own—add cooked bacon, jalapeños, or breadcrumbs for a twist.

If reheating, stir in a splash of milk to bring back the creaminess.
