Creamy Honey Buffalo Steak Pasta Bake combines tender steak bites with a velvety cheese sauce enhanced by buffalo heat and honey sweetness, all wrapped around comforting pasta. It’s baked to perfection with a rich, spicy, and slightly sweet flavor profile that’s impossible to resist.

Ingredients

1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

2 cups elbow macaroni (or other short pasta)

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

2 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

2 cups milk (preferably whole)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup cream cheese

1/4 cup buffalo sauce

2 tbsp honey

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook macaroni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Sear until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Whisk in flour and cook for another minute.
  4. Slowly pour in milk while whisking. Simmer until thickened, about 3–5 minutes.
  5. Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add buffalo sauce and honey. Stir to combine. Taste and adjust heat/sweetness if needed.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix pasta with cheese sauce. Transfer to greased baking dish.
  8. Top with seared steak. Bake for 10–15 minutes until bubbly. Broil for a crispy finish if desired.
  9. Let rest, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
