Description
This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Cheesy Spaghetti brings together juicy seared chicken breasts with a rich, silky garlic-Parmesan sauce over perfectly cooked pasta. A comforting and satisfying dinner that’s easy enough for weeknights but impressive enough for guests.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 oz spaghetti
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- 1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove and set aside. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (1–2 minutes). Lower heat, add heavy cream, and whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente.
- Drain and add to the cheese sauce, tossing to coat.
- Slice or cube the cooked chicken and serve over creamy spaghetti.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan.
Notes
For best results, always use freshly grated Parmesan—not pre-shredded.
Add a splash of milk when reheating to revive the sauce’s creamy texture.
Don’t overcook the garlic—it should be golden and aromatic, not browned or bitter.
