Description

This Creamy Cajun Garlic Butter Spaghetti with Beef Strips is a rich and savory dish featuring perfectly seared beef, al dente spaghetti, and a silky Cajun-spiced garlic butter cream sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or indulgent entertaining, it’s the ultimate comfort meal with a bold Southern twist.

Ingredients

1 pound beef sirloin or ribeye, sliced into strips

8 ounces spaghetti

1 cup heavy cream

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Season the beef strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. In a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef in olive oil until browned. Remove and set aside.

3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

6. Add Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning. Stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.

7. Add the cooked spaghetti into the skillet and toss until coated in sauce. Use pasta water as needed to adjust consistency.

8. Return the beef strips to the skillet and combine gently.

9. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Let your beef rest for a few minutes after searing to retain juices before adding back to the pasta.

Use freshly grated Parmesan instead of pre-shredded for a smoother sauce.

Want a veggie boost? Add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms into the mix.
