Description

Cream Cheese Chicken is a quick and flavorful dinner that transforms simple chicken breasts into a luscious, creamy meal. The pan-seared chicken is coated in a rich garlic and cream cheese sauce that clings to every bite, making it perfect to serve with rice, pasta, or vegetables.


Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 oz cream cheese (full-fat recommended)

2 cloves garlic, minced

3/4 cup chicken broth

2 tbsp olive oil or butter

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chives or parsley, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter and sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower heat and add garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cream cheese and a splash of chicken broth, mixing until smooth.
  5. Add remaining broth gradually, stirring to desired consistency.
  6. Simmer sauce 2–3 minutes. Add extra seasoning if desired.
  7. Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer another 2–3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chives or parsley. Serve hot.
